Sydney siders will soon be able to experience the Moulin Rouge, Lido and Folies Bergere Paris all fused together in a show like no other arriving at the State Theatre for one day/night only. Paris is famous for its jazz, cabaret, burlesque, Cancan dancers and old-fashioned, dazzling showgirl glamour and so now this saucy and raunchy side of Paris can be enjoyed by Sydney siders.  Former Moulin Rouge showgirl Marissa Burgess and her entourage of magnificent and highly talented showgirls who have made their name performing in famous Parisian venues like Moulin Rouge and Lido promise to mesmerise audiences with beautiful dancing routines and elaborate costumes made of sequence, jewels, rhinestones and ostrich feathers leaving little to the imagination – oo la la!  The variety show will also include world-class illusionist Michael Boyd who promises to mesmerise and captivate with incredible and highly artistic magic and illusion acts while aerial pole acrobatics and comedy circus performers alongside the charming and very French Cancan dancers will transport audiences straight to France.  Why not have an early or late French dinner near by at Bistro Papillon (98 Clarence Street T: 02 9262 2402) or perhaps Bistro Guillaume (259 George Street T: 02 8622 9555) to complete your French inspired evening out?  Read more about my experience at the Cabaret De Paris (will post my review after June 30th) and my experiences at both Bistro’s under the “restaurant” category here at

To book visit or call or 1300 139 588 but hurry tickets have nearly sold out!!!  Running time: 2pm and 7.30pm show June 30th 2018 State Theatre Sydney CBD 49 Market Street Sydney T: 02 9373 6655.
